Ukrainian Institute of Fashion History is the first interactive center of historical and modern clothing in Ukraine. It website was designed by Andrew Veles to show the uniqueness of Ukrainian nation garments culture. The Institute now is a space for temporary exhibitions, thematic and educational activities and research projects in the field of fashion. The website represents the initiative of a group of Ukrainain fashion designers the main goal of which is the preservation the national clothing culture, keeping it alive and developing.

Fleur Pavilia

Fleur Pavilia's promotional website is in itself a piece of interactive art that draws from the atmosphere of the promotion video. Visitors are greeted with an image of a plum blossom in the form of ikebana, Japanese floral arrangement tree in a grey expanse as meditative music plays and petals descend the screen slowly. The website employs artistic use of white and grey interspersed with floating, dissolving pieces of poetry to embody the idea of nature as spiritual and peaceful.

This design has a sophisticated look attained through detailed research in trends and user. From this, it is reviewed to provide a pleasant experience for the users. It has a neatly organized layout, and a visual hierarchy enabling clear and convenient recognition of information displayed. Regardless of highly saturated main colors, the elements were designed harmoniously, presenting comfort and friendliness. The interesting construct of moving up to down and the clear layout both promote positive and interest from the users.
