Xijiu Matured Liquor
Xijiu Matured Liquor is a packaging design for a Chinese liquor series. The bottle keeps the classic drum silhouette of the brand and refers to the circular form of a piece held in the Palace Museum, a shape linked with completeness and harmony in traditional Chinese culture. Age statements of 15 and 30 years are laser engraved as flowing ribbons. The cap uses a four sided auspicious shape and opens and closes smoothly. Inside, an original woodcut style illustration shows the landscape along the Chishui River and the brewing ingredients. The outer box is easy to carry and store.
Xijiu Matured Liquor Packaging by Chengdu Times Fashion Art Design Co., Ltd has been highlighted as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Xijiu Matured Liquor Packaging won the Platinum A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2025. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which celebrates outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
